Portable sampler for compressed gas microbiological monitoring “Microflow Compressed”

The Microflow Compressed has been specifically developed for bio-contaminant (eg: fungal spore, bacterial cells, etc.) sampling in compressed air or gas employed in manufacturing premises with controlled contamination areas. The aim of this sampling is to verify and quantify the presence of microorganism that may compromise the sterility of semifinished or finished products.

For operating with “Microflow Compressed” is enough to connect the sampler to the area of interest through a sterile tube. Check with the pressure gauge that the pressure of the incoming gas is not higher than 4 bars (in this case it is necessary to reduce the pressure with a regulator placed upstream of the inlet tap) not to cause an excessive impact stress on the microorganisms. Through the flowmeter it is possible to adjust the air flow to the desired flow rate. The air, through the diffusion funnel, will impact on the plate with agar medium simply pushed by the gas pressure itself
