TITANIUM HEATED PROBE FOR MICROPOLLUTANTS

The components of the probe in contact with the polluted are made entirely of titanium and the measurement of the   sample temperature, as required by  UNI EN 1948  occurs within the sampling chamber downstream the filter media.

The  probe, protected by utility model, through a particular removable insert positioned within the sampling chamber, allows the operator to interchange the sampling media easily (filter – thimble – basket) without removing the probe from its holder in the chimney.

In the rear closing cap of the sampling chamber, always made of titanium, are located the housing of the thermocouple, the hose connection fitting for dust sampling and other three connections that, when not in use, are closed by removable plugs and replaceable with titanium hose.

The probe is heated by resistors connected to a temperature control framework with IP microprocessor 65. The set temperature adjustment is ensured by the thermocouple within the sampling chamber and connected to the temperature control framework.

For the leak test, which must be carried out before each sampling, you should use the blind nozzle (supplied) by screwing it on the terminal part of the curve.

After sampling, and extracting the insert with the sampling device, the operator can clean the probe for retrieving micropollutants still inside it, by closing both the sampling chamber (using the special blind plate supplied ) and the curve nozzle holder, as already described.

The probe is supplied with:

  • Sampling room in titanium, provided with a jack for connection to the control unit, equipped with an external jacket in stainless steel AISI 316: between the external jacket and the sampling chamber is located wrapped resistance heating.
The sampling room is equipped with:
    - titanium insert sample devices holder
    - filter holder, thimble holder, rack holders for the insert abovementioned (all devices are made of titanium)
    - closing plate for sample chamber made of titanium, designed for 4 hose connections and a thermocouple attack
    - blind plate closing the sample chamber titanium probe for washing
    - titanium flange and teflon ring nut for the tightening of the sampling chamber with the  above-mentioned  plates
    - thermocouple for measuring the temperature in the sample chamber and, as provided for by the norm, behind the filter media and equipped with connection cable to the control unit
    - 4 hoses
    - set of gaskets
    - 2 meshes of titanium filter holder
  • Sampling tube for chimney equipped with an external jacket in stainless steel AISI 316: between the external jacket and the sampling tube is wrapped resistance for heating provided with attachment to the control unit.
    The tube is supplied with:
    - access to the sample chamber
    - curved nozzle holder
    - heating  resistance with connector
    - stainless steel flange (Ø 90 mm) with sliding sleeves
    - termocoppia
    - thermocouple

Probes are available in different lengths: 50 – 100 – 150 – 200 cm

The sampling tubes of the heated probes are interchangeable: a 50 cm probe can easily be converted into a 2 meters probe simply purchasing the tube of the desired length.
