ANALYST

ANALYST is a diffusive sampler to axial symmetry, of long period, therefore suitable  for the determination of average concentrations of gas and steams in the urban atmosphere. The passive sampling exploits the capacity of many  substances to spread in the atmosphere and to "bind themselves" to suitable adsorbents. The diffusive  sampler  absorbs and keeps the substances, which are to be sampled.
The amount of polluting  sampled  is then determined with suitable quantitative analysis and his  average concentration is determined knowing the sampling duration, the equivalent range  and the mass (noticed analytically) of the polluting examined.
The (passive) diffusive sampling so does not require either the pump use or any source of energy, is a silent system, comfortable, of low dimensions and low cost and does not require the specialized staff’s intervention.
The technique of the passive sampling with ANALYSTr (patent RM 98A-000584) has been developed by the Institute On The Atmospheric Pollution Of The National Research Council, Rome, Italy.
Analyst is a ready to use sampler and is the first in compliance diffusive sampler to the rules of law: it is in fact equipped with equivalence certificate, as required by D.M. n° 60 of the April 2002  for the air good quality evaluation.
