PM10-PM2.5 SAMPLING HEAD

The "fine particulate" are pollutants particles that are present in the air that we breathe. These small particles can be of organic or inorganic nature and are solid or liquid. These particles are capable of adsorbing on their surface a variety of substances with toxic properties such as sulphates, nitrates, metals and volatile compounds.
The "fine particulates" are classified according to their size, which can lead to a different level of damage. In fact, the more these particles are small and more they have the ability to penetrate into the respiratory system.
PM10 (diameter less than 10 uM) can be inhaled and penetrate the upper respiratory tract, from nose to the larynx.
PM2, 5 (diameter less than 2.5 uM) can be breathed and go into the deepest part of the apparatus, up to reach the bronchial tubes.

AQUARIA srl offers for their monitoring two sampling heads (one for PM10 and for PM2.5) which must be used with their specific holder.
