ISOKINETC HEATED PROBE FOR MICROPOLLUTANTS


The components of the probe in contact with the pollutants are made entirely of titanium and the measurement of sampling temperature, as required by EN 1948, takes place inside the sample chamber downstream of the filter area.

The proposed probe, covered by a utility patent, through a special removable insert and positioned within the sampling chamber, allows the operator to interchange sampling supports with ease (filter – thimble – basket) without removing the probe from its housing in chimney.

In the cap on the back of the sampling chamber, always made of titanium, are housed the thermocouple, the connection to the hose for dust sampling and three other  possible attacks that, if not used, are closed with caps removable and replaceable from a hose of titanium.

The heating of probe is carried out through  resistances connected to an microprocessor  temperature control panel IP 65.  The adjustement of the set temperature is assured by the thermocouple placed inside the sampling chamber and connected  to the temperature control panel.

For the watertight test, which must be made before each sampling, you should use the blind nozzle (supplied) and screw it on the end of the curve.

Completed the sampling and extracted the insert with the sampling device, the operator can wash the probe for the recovery of micropollutants still present inside, either by closing  the sampling chamber (using the blind plate supplied) that the curve where are placed the nozzles, as described.


The probe is supplied with:

1) Sampling chamber in titanium constituted by:
    - insert for sampling devices in titanium
    - filterholder, thimbleholder, basketholder for the connection to the insert above indicated (all devices are made of titanium)
    - plate closing the sampling chamber made of titanium,  designed for 4 rubber attacks and an attack for thermocouple
    - blind plate closing the sampling chamber of titanium for washing of the probe
    - flange in titanium and  ring in teflon for clamping the sampling chamber with the plates above mentioned
    - thermocouple for temperature measurement in the sampling chamber and, as stated in the standard, behind the filtering area and with a cable for connection to the control unit
    - 4 rubber tubes
    - gaskets sets
    - 2 nets for filter support in titanium

The sampling chamber has an outer casing of stainless steel AISI 316: between  the outer casing and the sampling chamber  is wrapped the resistance for heating. The sampling chamber is equipped with a plug for connection to the control unit

2) Tube for emission sampling completed with:
    - connection to the sampling chamber and to the curve where are placed the nozzles
    - heating resistance with connector
    - stainless steel flange (diameter 90 mm) with sliding sleeves
    - thermocouple
    - pitot tube

The sampling tube, with its curve for the attack of the nozzle, has an outer casing of stainless steel AISI 316: between the outer casing and the sampling tube is wrapped the resistance for heating equipped with attack  to the control unit
