ISOCYANATES TUBES (isocyanates sampling)
|
The consistent use of polyurethane-based products (paints, glues, building materials, foam blowing agents, etc.) and the toxicological characteristics of isocyanate monomers, maintain a continuous interest, for occupational and environmental hygiene, the monitoring of the airborne organic diisocyanates.
The system proposed by AQUARIA consists of a glass tube containing an inert support, through which ambient air is forced to filter. The inert cylindrical support is impregnated with the metossifenilpiperazina (MPP) reagent, as suggested by NIOSH method 5521. The extraction of urethane derivates, after sampling, is made with acetonitrile and acetic anhydride and the resulting solutions are analyzed by liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet detector.
The modest size tube is suitable to be used for personal sampling, area sampling and also for the sampling of isocyanates in chimney. |

- Type: glass tube - Support: inert, impregnated with metossifenilpiperazina (MPP) reagent, as suggested by NIOSH method 5521. The material that makes up the support guarantees high inertia both against the isocyanate that the reagent. - Flow rate: 0,5 l/min - Packaging: 6 pieces - Storage: store tubes in the dark When refrigerated at + 4°C tubes have a shelf life of 2 months. The deadline is extended up to 6 months if kept in the freezer. |
