BLACK ACTIVA_TP Plus


The cabinet BLACK ACTIVA TP Plus (cut pieces) has been designed for the protection of the operator and of the outside environment by possible contaminations coming from handling chemical, toxic and harmful products in the working area, without interference in the activity of the actual operator.

The hood, through the motor fan, draws outside air toward the work area and then conveying it towards the upper ejection. Any vapors dispersed during processing are well vented outside, after molecular filtration, protecting the operator from possible toxic fumes. The filtered air expelled from the hood, is recycled in the room or ducted outside the room. The absorption process of the coal is closely linked to its microporous structure: to protect the integrity, the hood is provided with pre-filters which have the purpose of retaining the dust particles that would otherwise clog the pores of the carbon filter by reducing the heat exchange surface and then the length of the filter

The carbon filters are normally or impregnated  with chemicals that promote the absorption or neutralization of substances in use.

Its use is prevalent in departments where substances are used, such as formalin, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde or other substances that are particularly toxic to the operator, especially in laboratories of pathological anatomy, histology, sector, autopsy.

The cabinet has been tested for its storage capacity in compliance with UNI EN 14175-3:2003 - article 5.3

MAIN FEATURES

- External chassie: in steel sheet, thickness 12/10, epoxy powder painted (lasting stability, chemical resistance). The interior walls are coated entirely in polycarbonate  to avoid damages to the painted steel caused by the use of particularly corrosive substances
- Worktop: may be supplied in stainless-steal INOX AISI 316, vitrosteal or monolithic gress. The worktop must have at least one sink. In the presence of checked exhaust system, provide 2 sinks (one for discharge into the drainage system, the second dedicated  to the recovery of toxic and harmful liquids in a special tank supplied.
- Front window in tempered glass sliding vertical, going up and down motorized, with a mechanism to adjust stop, which has safety rubber blocks against fall of glass
- Height of the motorized glass when fully lowered: 10 cm from the worktop (for security reasons – hands cut resistant)
- Possibility of channeling outside of the expelled air, where possible, from the room of installation by addition of a drain connection
- double bottom for rear intake in polycarbonate to standardize the horizontal flow of air from the front of the machine
- suitable to hold up to 3 filters in series (up to 2 carbon filters plus 1 HEPA) on each filtering group, of different thicknesses
- electronic borad with blue display controlled by high quality microprocessor
On the control panel, with soft-touch polycarbonate keyboard, are present:
* switch 0/l luminous
* button operating fan motors
* fluorescent lamp switching button
* buttons drive frontal sliding glass fan
* hours run meter of engines and of use of the filters
* read in real time of the air speed (m/sec) on the opening front panel by digital display
* inadequate speed alarm
* pre-filter obstruction alarm
* alarm for exceeding the maximum period for the replacement of the filter installed (resettable)
- automatic adjustement of the air speed able to compensate:
* in a continuous way changes of opening of the front glass
* the gradual obstruction of the pre-filters, carbon filters and HEPA filters
* the presence of one or more workers in front of the cabin by reducing the turbulence in the working area
- degree of electric protection IP44 for fan motor and motor for frontal sliding glass (if present), IP 55 for electric control panel, IP 65 for fluorescent lamp
