THREE ACTIVA (Class III)

The cabinet THREE ACTIVA has been designed and built with a work area tightly closed to ensure the highest level of personal protection from biological hazards.
The ambient air enters from the side of the cabin after decontamination using a HEPA filter. It then crosses the entire workingarea by investing the stainless steel floor. The contaminated air, sucked by a outside fan (that keeps a negative pressure inside the cabinet, about 124.5 Pa), is decontaminated by passing through a two-stage ULPA filters. Clean air is channeled outside the building through a sealed pipe. The access to the working area is provided by latex gloves sleeve positioned, and secured by means of flanges, on the front of the cabinet.

The product, although handled in a sterile environment, is potentially subject to the risk of cross contamination due to the turbulence of the airflow within the workspace. The turbulent air makes this cabinet poorly adapted in the case it is also necessary to ensure the sterility of the product.
